Aston Martin Partners Brough For First Street-legal Motorcycle Packs On Public Roads
British manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers, Aston Martin has taken its motorcycle partnership with Brough Superior onto public roads.
The two companies unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster on September 9, 2026, marking the first Aston Martin motorcycle that can be registered and ridden legally on public streets.
The bike follows the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro while bringing a new 1,083cc V-twin, a titanium frame, and a limited 300-unit production run.

Aston Martin’s chief creative officer, Marek Reichman said creating a road-going bike had been a long-term ambition after the company developed its earlier track machines with Brough Superior. The new model was developed specifically around public-road riding.
Brough Superior is responsible for producing the motorcycle at its facility in Toulouse, France.
The partnership previously produced the AMB 001 in 2019 and the AMB 001 Pro in 2022. Both were built for closed-course use, while the AMB 002 expands the collaboration into road-legal territory.
Aston Martin and Brough Superior will build only 300 examples of the AMB 002 and each motorcycle will be individually hand-built instead of coming from conventional mass production.
Orders are already being accepted, with the first customer deliveries scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2027.
The motorcycle carries several design elements associated with Aston Martin’s cars. Its bodywork uses sculpted carbon fiber, while the side-strake and rear lighting take inspiration from the company’s road cars and hypercars.
The exhaust treatment also reflects styling seen on models such as the Vanquish, DB12 S, and DBX S.
Power comes from an all-new 1,083cc four-stroke, water-cooled V-twin. The engine produces 130 hp and 81 lb-ft of torque. Brough Superior designed and machined the engine specifically for the AMB 002, including its CNC-machined engine cases.
The AMB 002 weighs about 419 pounds, with its weight distributed evenly between the front and rear. Its titanium frame weighs only 11 pounds and forms the motorcycle’s structural backbone. Carbon fiber bodywork and the fuel tank help keep the center of gravity low.
