Lenovo releases new 14-inch ThinkPad globally with Snapdragon X2 Elite and 32 GB RAM

Lenovo has given its 14-inch ThinkPad T14s Gen 7 a wider international release. Weighing 1.19 kg, the Snapdragon X2-based laptop features up to a 500-nit display, 32 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.

After a mid-July launch in North America, it has now reached Europe and elsewhere with a choice between Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Plus (X2P-42-100) and Snapdragon X2 Elite (X2E-80-100) chipsets, differing by about 20 percent in benchmark performance. It ships with LPDDR5X-9600 RAM, M.2 2242 storage, a 58 Wh battery and Wi-Fi 7.

Pricing starts at €2,009–€2,280 / £1,909 (about $1,719 in the US for a comparable configuration). Reviewers flagged high standby power consumption as a shortcoming.
