Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy XR in the United Kingdom, now available for purchase the headset directly with free Explorer Pack worth £665 for every purchase.
The tech firm released the headset after opening pre-orders for its first mixed reality headset in the UK last month. The Galaxy XR is available in the UK directly from Samsung’s website in a single colour: Shadow (Silver).
The headset doesn’t include controllers, so if you want the Galaxy XR controllers, you’ll need to pay £249 (after an ongoing 30 percent discount).
With a purchase of the headset during the promotional period, one will receive the Explorer Pack, which includes the Adobe Project Pulsar (12 months), Asteroid (Lifetime), Calm Premium (12 months), and Google AI Pro with 5TB of storage for 12 months.
Other benefits on purchase are Google Play Pass (12 months), NFL PRO ERA (Lifetime), and YouTube Premium for 12 months. These digital offers are deemed for redemption by September 21, 2027.
For prescription lenses, prospective buyer can order them for the Galaxy XR from Samsung’s website while buying the headset. The Galaxy XR Travel case also costs £249 extra (after an ongoing 30 percent discount).
The headset comes with a charger and a charging cable in the box while the power bank that powers the device also comes in the box.
There is also an additional 10 percent discount on the Galaxy XR if one buys it with a qualifying Galaxy smartphone by August 4, 2026. For the Galaxy Buds or a Galaxy Watch with the Galaxy XR by 30 September, 2026, one can get a 10 percent discount on the wireless earbuds or the smartwatch.
