Smartphone brand, Infinix, has unveiled its latest device in the Note lineup, the Infinix Note 60 Ultra, The new smart model, launched at the Mobile World congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona is a near-flagship smartphone designed primarily for emerging markets.
The device blends premium design with high-end smartphone features at what is expected to be a competitive price point. Unlike many smartphones announced at the event that focused heavily on incremental hardware upgrades, the Note 60 Ultra was built with a different strategy for Infinix.
The company is posed to pushing its popular Note series closer to the premium category with expansion going beyond its traditional mid-range positioning. This also shows a changing dynamic in the global smartphone market. While established premium brands such as Apple continue exploring ways to increase adoption in emerging markets, value-driven manufacturers like TECNO and Infinix are simultaneously moving upmarket by introducing more advanced features and refined designs.
Key specifications of the Infinix Note 60 Ultra include 78-inch AMOLED display; 5K Ultra HDRRefresh, 144Hz and peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. Others are MediaTek Dimensity 8400 processor, Ultimate (4nm) and Android 16 with XOS 16RAM, 12GB storage and 256GB.
