Schneider Electric has unveiled new data centre reference designs developed with NVIDIA for quicker and more efficient Artificial Intelligence (AI) deployment by operators. The company in a statement said the blueprints for the data centre include the industry’s first integrated framework for power management and liquid cooling control systems, designed to support the growing demand for highdensity, GPU-powered AI clusters.
One of the designs connects Schneider’s liquid cooling technologies with NVIDIA Mission Control, the chipmaker’s operations and orchestration software. The integration allows realtime management of energy and cooling resources across AI factories while supporting NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell systems.
A second design focuses on the deployment of NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 racks, with a capacity of up to 142 kilowatts per rack. The blueprint provides guidance on facility power, cooling, IT space and lifecycle software for next-generation AI data halls, under both U.S. and international standards.
Senior vice president and chief technology officer at Schneider Electric, Jim Simonelli said “Schneider Electric is streamlining the process of designing, deploying, and operating advanced AI infrastructure with its new reference designs.” “Our latest reference designs, featuring integrated power management and liquid cooling controls, are future-ready, scalable, and co-engineered with NVIDIA for real-world applications.”
The director of Data Centre Engineering at NVIDIA, Scott Wallace said the designs would help operators adapt to the shift in computing. “With its latest controls reference design, Schneider Electric connects critical infrastructure data with NVIDIA Mission Control, delivering a rigorously validated blueprint that enables AI factory digital twins and empowers operators to optimise advanced accelerated computing infrastructure,” he said.
Schneider said the designs also include digital twin capabilities through its ETAP and EcoStruxure software, enabling operators to simulate power and cooling scenarios for efficiency and reliability
